Topic: ongoing site and forum changes

I'll use this thread as a place to keep you updated on what's happening with the forum and the rest of the web site, rather than creating new threads for each new thing.

You are always welcome to make suggestions or question something that's been done. You are even more welcome to offer up your help big_smile

Re: ongoing site and forum changes

At the-golem's suggestion.. re-arranged sub-forums and categories. We now we have just two categories: community and LiteStep.

The community category is for general off-topic discussion and anything not related specifically to the LiteStep code, files, programs, configuration, etc. So, this is where you will go to discuss the web site, ways to communicate and keep people updated, the direction LS is taking, etc.

The LiteStep category is for anything very specifically related to LiteStep, such as user help, development discussion, or modules and themes discussion. There is now a "core development" sub-forum which can be used to discuss anything related to coding, or questions people have about code they see. You don't need to be a developer at all to post in here (in fact, we very much encourage everyone to check out the code and ask questions).. but separating the threads from other involvement or help discussions should limit the noise factor a bit for all of those areas.
